CSULB FITNESS MAJORS ASSOCIATION

Eligibility

• Artists must be a current student at California State University Long Beach.

• The contest is open to all majors and artists at CSULB. Artists DO NOT need to be a Kinesiology-Fitness major, and DO NOT need to be a member of .

• Individuals must be 18 years or older to submit a design.

 

Design Criteria & Entry Information

Students are encouraged to submit a fitness related design that incorporates common fitness phrases, equipment, images, and/or ideas. Design DOES NOT need to include the Fitness Majors Association or CSULB name, logo, or acronym.

 

Each entry: (a) is wholly original; (b) does not include material requiring consent of a third party, and (c) does not violate copyright, trademark, publicity or privacy rights,  or other rights of an existing third party. Submissions including offensive language, imagery, or themes will be excluded from the competition

 

Individuals can submit up to five (5) designs. Entries must be submitted via email to longbeachfma@gmail.com not later than 3pm on Friday, April 15th, 2016.

 

By entering the contest, the artist acknowledges, agrees, and understands that the winning design will become the exclusive property of FMA. FMA retains exclusive rights to the reproduction of the design, as well as the right to edit, composite, scan, duplicate or alter the entry for any purpose it deems necessary - without further compensation and/or permission.

 

Additional Info

Designs will be posted on our Facebook page, where voting will determine the grand prize winner. The voting period is: 8am Monday, April 18th to 3pm Friday, May 6th.

 

The design with the most “likes” as of 3pm, Friday, May 6th will be the winner. Artists may share the Fitness Majors Association’s album onto their personal page, however, only votes placed on the FMA page will be counted towards the tally.

The winner will be notified via email, announced on Facebook, and confirmed on the Fitness Majors Association’s website by Monday, May 9th at 8am. Winner will receive tickets to Wahoo Taco's and a complimentary t-shirt with their design.
